GhostBusting

On the way back to Kay El
Activities in charge decided to make a stop at Kellie's Castle
We also have to impress the judge n' put our acting skills to the test
under the scorching hot sun....

Didn't I tell you there's something about this place?
Creepy looking if you ask me
If there's something strange in the neighbourhood,
who you're gonna call? Ghost Busters!
Looking more like a camwhore session -.-"
Introducing the first group of girls that joined Leo
The noisy batch
n' the first prize junk foods go to them
A parody of Cinderella literally.
Hadi n' the gals n' Max of course
I can recognize that terrorist face with or without the shades
Our version of Romeo n' Juliet
The quieter group of girls or perhaps
they haven't shown their true colours
Tropicanas rocks my socks haha
The outgoing P n' VP
Fellow engineer n' tropicana member
Believe me, I'm his ancestor lol
Looking forward to the newbies in action =P
Ipoh people click best XD

Thanks Mr Publicity!
n' that's a wrap guys!

Tempurung & Taiping Zoo

Day 2 - fun filled activities await us
Caves in the day, zoo in the night
Though it may be physically challenging,
it's really just a form of relaxation for me =P

Looks like Ipoh likes to put 'de' everywhere =.=
Entrance to Tempurung
Behold...
Our tour guide has the wildest imaginations
This is where the real caving begins
One of the two who stayed behind
We made it out in one piece!
I was too full to even lay a finger on the meat
Tour around the zoo
Harimau Malaya
Black n' yellow, black n' yellow
Pretty much sums up our day 2

Madam Kang of Kamunting

Remembered telling Madam Kang that I would be back
Though I haven't manage to fulfill what I've said
She has been taking care of about 200 dogs by herself...
We came all the way just to lend her a helping hand
Do let me know if you wish to help too =)

Next destination : Taiping
All aboard!
Keeping our journey very much alive
Our person in charge of the trip imo
You must be curious who is this Madam Kang,
that's her!
n' take a look at all the abandoned dogs she's been taking care of
It's time for us to help her today
Chop chop
Fixing up the fence around the area
Some are afraid of those furry critters
I wonder why?
Looks like the dog is taking a poop
Looks like Michelle is taking a poop too hahaha
Time to feed the doggies
Bottom's up!
Look at this sleepy lil one
Thanks for giving us the chance to help you!
It was to my surprise that you still remember me =P
or whatever I told you few years back

And a glimpse of our night activities
Looks like this bridge was sponsored by Lions Club
What bridge??
This bridge...
Leo Club of Monash University was here!

Stay tuned to part 2 of 3!

Onwards to Kamunting!

Summer break's ongoing but our Leo Club is still very much active!
Our event was located in the small town of Taiping
Our event starts as soon as we reach TaipingLook at the number of dogs at the place
Madam Kang alone has to take care of at least 150+ of themShe has been on the newspapers before
I'm sure you have at least come across Madam Kang's name
She shifted to Taiping all the way from PenangSome of the cuter dogs under the care of Madam KangWe bought some daily necessities as well as
some brand new equipments for herTrying to pile up all the dry leaves, branches and woodAll this would be burnt to avoid breeding of creatures
ie. mosquito n' snakesNot an easy task for someone staying alone n'
taking care of the whole compound filled with dogs
+ She's not as young or energetic as the person in the picture aboveBroken shovel, talk about strength O.oSome overworked themselves while others laze around complain a lil too much!
Not all are as passionate n' dedicatedHave a look at that pile
Imagine three similar piles of that sizeFinishing the job n'
taking an official group pic for the Leo blogLet's sidetrack abit n' I'll show you my fave dog there xD
The hotdog aka daschund, cute aint it?Second day at Taiping's Children HomeSeparated into groups for fun filled activities =)The team leader for my group =P
Among their favourite pastime
Drawing, not blindfolded of course
This was one of the activities lined up during the 4 hour visitThis game was 'helang tangkap anak ayam'
Not a clue what is the English name for it
Don't it look like we are the helang instead of the kids? *haha*
They were xtremely energetic n' we Leos were almost exhausted just running for about 5 minsAs we approached the end of our visit
See if you can spot the *touch up* part in this picture =P
